Job Description

Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring an experienced Data Engineer to support mission-driven projects. The role emphasizes building and operating data pipelines and workflows that bring together structured and unstructured data, alongside the development and maintenance of analytic solutions in an agile environment.

This onsite position is located in Camp Lejeune, NC. The projected annual compensation range is USD 77,500 - 176,000, with salary determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and contract and organizational requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects
  • Deploy and develop pipelines and workflows that organize disparate data and make it meaningful
  • Collaborate with and guide a multi-disciplinary team that includes analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Apply analytical exploration and data examination while assessing, designing, building, and maintaining analytic solutions for clients

What You Need

  • 3+ years using programming and querying languages, including Python, R, Scala, or SQL
  • 3+ years developing and maintaining data applications for reporting and analytics
  • 3+ years creating software to retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data
  • 3+ years building scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
  • Experience delivering solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Work Model

This role is onsite, with work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where collaboration with colleagues and customers occurs as required by the position.
