Data Engineer

Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer (Technology Consultant 2) in Dallas, TX to support software delivery across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned business requirements portions following provided guidance
• Lead and participate in application design discussions; document design decisions to guide the technical team
• Perform coding and integration work for new features or updates within existing applications, with an emphasis on system stability
• Carry out code reviews; make approved changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement and execute test strategies, analyze outcomes, and coordinate bug fixes to meet quality standards
• Create user training, documentation, and support frameworks to enable a smooth transition to new software applications
• Participate in production issue resolution; recommend preventive approaches to improve system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base for related projects
