Data Engineer Consultant

Escalon Services, LLC. is hiring a Data Engineer Consultant (onsite, United States) to design and operate reliable data infrastructure for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, data pipelines, and storage solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data modeling, analysis, and visualization solutions.
• Monitor the health and performance of data pipelines and systems; troubleshoot issues and apply optimizations to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Assist leadership with internal process improvement efforts, including infrastructure redesign for scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
• Keep current on emerging data engineering technologies and industry trends; contribute ideas to continuously improve data infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relative experience in data engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
