Data Engineer

IntApp is hiring an onsite Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC to help deliver accurate data integrations for client implementations. This role focuses on end-to-end data migration into the DealCloud platform, with hands-on work across ETL, validation, QA/testing, and collaboration with clients to support reliable go-live delivery. What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end migration of client data into the DealCloud platform.
• Gather client data migration requirements and translate them into accurate technical solutions for integration and go-live.
• Own ETL tasks, including data extraction from client legacy platforms, transformation, mapping, and loading for client projects.
• Validate and reconcile client data to ensure accuracy and data integrity during migration and go-live.
• Support platform configuration and data integration work in alignment with DealCloud best practices.
• Lead QA and testing efforts to support successful deployment of client solutions.
• Participate in internal project management activities such as documentation, status reporting, and escalation handling.
• Act as a secondary resource for client-facing initiatives including requirement gathering, solution design, and post-go-live support.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in ETL processes and tools, data integration, or technical delivery.
• Experience working in professional services, consulting, or client-facing roles within a SaaS organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or related experience.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or financial services technology.
• Proficiency with data manipulation using Excel, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and mapping techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and APIs is preferred.
• Ability to identify simple data issues and help drive solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team approach with a proactive delivery mindset.
