Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and monitor complex ELT jobs that integrate disparate data sources into clean, high-integrity data assets.
  • Contribute to and enforce data modeling policies, procedures, processes, and standards.
  • Document system flows and other technical details related to data, database design, and surrounding systems.
  • Develop data quality standards and implement tooling to safeguard data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Investment Management teams to understand new data patterns and requirements.
  • Partner with Data Analysts, Data Architects, and BI developers to craft scalable data solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Translate high level business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, and database design.
  • 5+ years of experience with ELT methodologies and tools.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL.
  • 3+ years of coding and scripting experience (Python, Java, Scala) and design work.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Spark framework.
