What you will do

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate disparate data into analysis-ready databases and sources
  • Design data solutions with defined functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery specifications
  • Lead all stages of the data solution lifecycle, including data analysis and profiling, conceptual/logical/physical data models, ETL architecture, and reporting/analytics
  • Maintain performance of data systems by diagnosing and resolving production and development issues
  • Determine optimal parameter values and tune data processing components
  • Evaluate, integrate, and install new releases and platform updates
  • Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects
  • Collaborate with data subject matter experts and analytics teams to create and optimize data assets and AI learning models that meet stakeholder needs

What we require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related area
  • Proficiency in Python, MS SQL, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Experience building and maintaining REACT web applications using JavaScript, CSS, and JSX
  • Experience designing and maintaining NodeJS and RESTful APIs
  • Developing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines with Docker, Harbor, and OpenShift deployments
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements

Work arrangement and schedule

  • Location: King of Prussia, PA with remote, full-time telework option
  • Remote work: The role is remote full-time; periodic on-site meetings may be required
  • Schedule: 9x80 with every other Friday off

Compensation details

The base salary range generally reflects location and scope. In most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York, the range is USD 131,000 to 227,125 per year. In other states, the range is USD 113,900 to 200,905 per year. Final compensation is determined by location, experience, and the specific responsibilities of the role.
