Data Engineer, Mid

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a mid level Data Engineer to build and deploy data pipelines and platforms for analytics on mission-driven projects within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data for analytics on mission-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile, fast-paced environment to deliver data solutions.
• Assist in evaluating data requirements and implementing scalable infrastructure to support analytics for clients.
• Advance capabilities for analytical discovery and data exploration to enable data-driven decisions.
• Participate in the assessment, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of scalable platforms for client use.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• 2+ years building and maintaining scalable data stores that serve big data for business analytics.
• Experience with the DoW Risk Management Framework.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or Palantir Envision.
• Experience building software to retrieve, parse, and process both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience developing scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 25 percent.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Compensation

• Salary range is USD 61,900 to 141,000 per year. Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements.
• The posted range represents typical compensation for this role and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
