Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and tackle complex analytics problems.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Work with data engineers to enhance data collection and storage.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support broad data management efforts including strategy, modeling, documentation, data feeds, infrastructure, ingestion automation, transformation, catalog and metadata management, quality, and governance.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports aligned to business objectives.
  • Connect Tableau to diverse data sources such as SQL databases, cloud platforms, and spreadsheets.
  • Stay current with Tableau features, best practices, and emerging BI trends.
  • Respond to incidents and changes from customers, including Tier 2 triage.
  • Address alerts and user-reported issues, escalate when needed, and resolve tickets using sound judgment within established practices.
  • Assist deployment teams with approved release packages and break-fix work on ServiceNow, following configuration, change, and release management policies.
  • Help develop installation instructions and supporting documentation for system design deployments.
  • Collaborate to provide technical input on system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Patch cloud servers and applications, configure software, respond to outages, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, including data connections, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Experience scripting in Tableau for automation, troubleshooting, integration, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and data visualization tools.
  • Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with business partners, engineers, and users needing fixes.
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment with urgency and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Tableau Certified Professional is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data governance and security best practices.
