Job Description
The Entry Level Data Analyst role at Meds is based onsite in Austin, TX and centers on advanced analytics of customer behavior, lifetime value, retention, and subscription health. The position supports marketing optimization using SQL and statistical modeling, builds dashboards, conducts experiments, and communicates findings through executive summaries, with a May 2026 through December 2026 window targeted for recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Analytics: perform in-depth analyses of customer behavior, lifetime value, and retention beyond basic descriptive statistics.
- Predictive Modeling: develop and maintain basic machine learning models (such as regression and random forest) to forecast inventory needs and subscription health.
- A/B Testing and Experimentation: design and analyze rigorous experiments across the web platform and marketing funnels to support data-driven product decisions.
- Data Storytelling: translate statistical insights into actionable executive summaries for marketing and operations teams.
- Self-Service Tooling: build and optimize Looker and Tableau dashboards to enable non-technical teammates to answer data questions independently.
- Data Integrity: collaborate with Data Engineering to maintain a reliable source of truth as the data warehouse scales (Snowflake and BigQuery).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a data-intensive role.
- SQL expert with strong query-building capabilities.
- Proficient in Python, including Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NumPy.
- Strong foundation in statistics, covering probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing one.

What We're Looking For
