Job Description

The Financial Data Analyst role at The Car Park is focused on producing accurate monthly financial reporting and helping leadership understand performance through analysis, budgeting support, and advanced Excel reporting. The position supports cross-department alignment by consolidating financial data and maintaining reliable models and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, variance analysis, and management reports.
  • Track key financial metrics and performance indicators, and help explain variances against budget and forecast.
  • Contribute to monthly financial packages prepared for internal leadership review.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting by gathering and consolidating financial data from multiple departments.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, dashboards, and models for tracking expenses, revenues, and operational KPIs.
  • Support compliance of financial transactions and records with internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial data, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Work with accounting, operations, and departmental leaders to maintain financial alignment across functions.
  • Participate in internal training and mentorship opportunities to expand knowledge and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical role, including internships.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts; experience with financial modeling preferred.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, including GAAP.

Location and Work Setup

Boise, ID (onsite).

Compensation

USD 45,000 - 55,000 per year.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
