Forward Deployed AI Engineer

BCG X is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help build and deploy AI solutions with client-facing, end-to-end ownership of the analytics value chain.

• Own the analytics value-chain end to end, from framing new business challenges through designing algorithms, implementing, and deploying scalable solutions
• Enable adoption of AI so colleagues and clients can fully embrace the solutions delivered
• Contribute to building the next generation of AI solutions
• Partner with clients across regions and industries, including key topics such as climate change, to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions
• Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers
• Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X
• Work on new feature development for future product releases in a service-oriented environment

Requirements

• Apply software development practices and standards to build robust, maintainable software
• Be actively involved across the software development life cycle
• Experience guiding non-technical teams and consultants on best practices for robust software development
• Optimize and enhance computational efficiency of algorithms and software design
• Motivation for a fast-paced, service-oriented role with direct client interaction
• Enjoy collaborating with teams to share software design and solution ideas
• Natural problem-solver with intellectual curiosity across a breadth of industries and topics
• Currently pursuing a full-time Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree with graduation between December 2026 and August 2027

Compensation

• First-year base compensation: $110,000 - $190,000 USD per year
