Job Description

Premier Staffing Source offers a long-term, hybrid role in Providence, RI for a Grants Project Specialist / Data Analyst. This position focuses on reconciling grant data across ERP, agency records, and federal systems, while supporting grant reporting and ensuring data accuracy. The hybrid schedule provides flexibility along with opportunities to collaborate closely with state staff on impactful financial and grant management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile grant financial data across multiple systems and data sources
  • Compare records between the state ERP, agency files, and federal reporting platforms
  • Identify discrepancies and collaborate with agency staff to resolve data inconsistencies
  • Analyze financial and grant data to confirm completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain detailed reconciliation logs and supporting documentation
  • Support grant reporting and data validation activities
  • Partner with agency personnel to enhance reconciliation processes and data quality
  • Learn and apply established grant reconciliation methodologies and procedures
  • Deliver assignments accurately while meeting project deadlines

Requirements

  • Strong data analytics and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn new systems and grant reconciliation methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with agency staff

Preferred Qualifications
