Job Description
This full-time, on-site Manager - Inventory and Data Analyst role is based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region. The position leads inventory control initiatives, optimizes stock levels, and governs data to guide efficient decision-making. Key duties include tracking inventory metrics, implementing management strategies, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Stock Control: supervise receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring inventory accuracy through effective warehouse practices.
- Cycle Counting: design and implement cycle count procedures, perform regular physical counts, and reconcile variances with system data.
- Replenishment: monitor stock levels and escalate discrepancies to the Procurement Manager to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Process Improvement: create and document standard operating procedures for inventory control to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Material Network Storage: manage 1PL, 3PL and supplier rents within budget, continually pursuing cost-saving opportunities.
- Demand Forecasting: when needed, collaborate with the Information Systems Manager, Procurement Manager and EVP of Customer Experience to review historical sales data, market trends, and Fishbowl to forecast inventory requirements.
- Analytical Reporting: produce weekly and monthly KPIs including inventory turnover, accuracy, and slow-moving items.
- Data Modeling: utilize Excel and Power BI to build dashboards tracking inventory metrics and visualizing supply chain performance.
- Data Integrity: audit data inputs to ensure system accuracy and investigate root causes of discrepancies.

- Proficiency in inventory control and inventory management practices.
- Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making and problem solving.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, operations, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, on-site environment.

Compensation
Salary: USD 90,016.80 - 100,643.89 per year.
