IT Data Analyst

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking an IT Data Analyst to join their team onsite in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This role concentrates on building robust reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making, leveraging SQL and Power BI to translate data into clear business insights. With a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, you’ll collaborate across business and technical groups to turn data into meaningful guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights.
• Analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, data models, and business intelligence tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Evaluate changes to source systems and assess their impact on reporting and analytics.
• Create and optimize data flows, reporting processes, and ETL solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support ongoing data governance, reporting enhancements, and business intelligence initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical reporting and analytics solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
