Journeyman Data Analyst

The Journeyman Data Analyst will support the U.S. Air Force MACS program by performing data analysis, developing analytical products, and briefing senior Air Force leadership within a Pentagon SCIF.

Role Summary

As a Journeyman Data Analyst, you will apply data-driven approaches to support Mission Assurance decision making for the MACS program, producing actionable insights and presenting findings to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform Mission Assurance decisions
• Create analytical artifacts, including visualizations, dashboards, and reports, leveraging Palantir Foundry and AI capabilities
• Brief senior Air Force leaders, communicating findings, recommendations, and analytical insights
• Assemble tasking packages, briefing materials, and decision support products
• Examine risk data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging threats to mission assurance
• Contribute to the development of courses of action and risk mitigation recommendations
• Collaborate with mission analysts and data managers to ensure outputs meet customer requirements
• Document analytical methodologies, assumptions, and data provenance
• Support ongoing improvements to analytical workflows and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution
• Three to ten years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical work
• Palantir AI Certification is required
• Experience developing data visualizations and analytical dashboards
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior leaders
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with caveats; U.S. Citizenship required

Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force analytical programs
• Familiarity with Mission Assurance, risk management, or critical infrastructure analysis
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Python or R
• Knowledge of AI and ML applications in data analysis
• Prior experience briefing O-6/GS-15 level and above

Pay

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 per year
