Junior Data Analyst/Developer

JANSON seeks a Junior Data Analyst/Developer to provide analytical and instructional support while building Army Vantage capabilities through hands-on execution, with a focus on growth and sustainment. The role requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring dashboards, implementing updates, and encouraging reuse.
• Aid in the creation of training materials and accompanying documentation.
• Contribute to data validation, quality assessments, and maintenance artifacts.
• Support the handoff of analytics and efforts to promote institutional adoption.
• Develop Army Vantage skills progressively over the contract period.
• Assist in preparing training environments, datasets, and example dashboards.
• Help manage the logistics and execution of both in-person and virtual training events.
• Collaborate on training documentation, job aids, and reference materials development.
• Assist instructors during training sessions, including troubleshooting, student support, and setup/teardown tasks.
• Perform data validation and quality checks on training datasets and dashboards.
• Capture training feedback and help document lessons learned and AAR inputs.
• Support reuse and sustainment of training materials and analytics products.
• Assume progressively limited instructional roles, such as walkthroughs or demonstrations, as skills mature.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• Ability to operate in classified and unclassified environments, including NIPRNet systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with military and civilian personnel.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 percent for in-person training and operational support.
• Proven ability to learn new tools, workflows, and operational contexts.
• Team-oriented with the capacity to collaborate with diverse Army and contractor personnel.
