Lead AI Engineer w/ RAG and Python

This role is a Lead AI Engineering position responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions aimed at enterprise transformation. The work centers on Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and model orchestration frameworks, delivered through scalable and secure system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions that support enterprise transformation.
• Architect scalable, secure, and innovative AI systems using LLMs, RAG pipeline architectures, and model orchestration frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in machine learning engineering and AI system development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and R.
• Deep knowledge of large language models and RAG pipeline architectures.
• Expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and model orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to implement secure and compliant API solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Location and Employment Details

• Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
• Onsite schedule: Hybrid 3x a week onsite in Holmdel NJ or NY
• Employment type: Permanent FTE, direct hire
• Minimum experience: 5 years

Compensation

• Salary range: USD 126,000 - 180,000 per year
• Pay rate details: $120-$180k base DOE
