The Opportunity
As a Managed Services Data Engineer, Experienced Associate, you will apply data and analytics to deliver strategic insights and support client decision making. Within the Data and Analytics practice, you will design and implement innovative solutions aimed at optimizing business performance and strengthening competitive advantage. The role prioritizes learning, client collaboration, and contributing to projects while growing your technical and business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy data driven solutions to boost performance and competitive edge, covering data engineering and ETL processes
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to generate strategic insights and inform client decisions, including SQL optimization
- Build and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis using DataStage
- Create reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools such as Oracle BI and QlikView, drawing from DB2 and SQL Server data
- Collaborate with teammates to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional modeling
- Leverage data architecture development skills to design and sustain robust database management systems with snowflake models
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance data quality and integrity
- Support client engagement by listening to diverse perspectives and needs in regulated environments
- Participate in developing business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation
- Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to deliver consistent quality, including tasks related to job scheduling and UNIX
