Job Description
Senior level data engineering leadership within PwC's Managed Services, overseeing projects, mentoring teams, managing client accounts, and delivering analytics-driven solutions to optimize business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead data engineering initiatives to generate strategic insights and enhance business performance through ETL/ELT data integration
- Design and deploy data solutions that leverage advanced analytics techniques, including DataStage
- Manage and mentor teams to elevate capabilities and ensure high-quality client deliverables, covering pipeline architecture
- Use business intelligence tools and cloud analytics platforms to support data‑driven decisions, including AWS and Redshift
- Build and maintain data pipelines and architectures to back analytics initiatives with DB2 and SQL Server
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvements, leveraging GoldenGate and CDC
- Oversee the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions, with performance tuning
- Encourage adoption of new technologies and methodologies across data and analytics teams, including S3 and Glue
- Address and resolve client and team issues, escalating when necessary
- Maintain professional and technical standards, aligning with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
