Job Description

PwC's Managed Services group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Manager to steer data engineering initiatives within the Data & Analytics practice, delivering analytics-driven solutions for client performance. This onsite role in Miami emphasizes strategic project leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding data strategy across client engagements. The compensation ranges from USD 99,000 to 232,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee data engineering initiatives to extract strategic insights and enhance client performance through ETL and ELT integration.
  • Design and deploy innovative data solutions using DataStage to enable advanced analytics.
  • Manage and mentor teams to elevate skills and deliver high-quality client services, focusing on pipeline architecture.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and cloud analytics platforms to strengthen data‑driven decision making, with experience in AWS and Redshift.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives using DB2 and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvement, leveraging GoldenGate and CDC.
  • Lead the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions with attention to performance tuning.
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, including S3 and Glue.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience.
