Quality Control Data Analyst
Job Description
Quality Control Data Analyst in the Assessor’s Office, Santa Fe County, onsite in Santa Fe, NM, with a pay rate of USD 25 - 29 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Complies with New Mexico statutes and IAAO industry best practices in every task.
- Logs all incoming correspondence into the designated system to compile, calculate, and track issues systematically.
- Routes correspondence to the appropriate division and ensures timely feedback is posted to the log.
- Audits system data and supporting documents to verify process effectiveness or identify corrective actions.
- Verifies that corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Keeps thorough records.
- Updates and maintains agency policies and procedures.
- Works with other departments to support quality control initiatives.
- Maintains historical data to spot evident errors and anomalies.
- Generates reports for supervisors to monitor efficiency in the assessment workflow.
- Supports annual audit activities as requested.
- Supports office staff to maintain high-quality customer service.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as requested.
- Provides project support to the Quality Control Manager as needed.
- Completes all designated training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of computer systems, electronic data processing, and modern office practices.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and related software in Windows, including Proval, Ascend, AS400, and Pictometry.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, plan and prioritize independently, multitask, and work with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, accuracy in calculations, and handling confidential material responsibly.
- Clear communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and the public.

Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based duties with routine use of standard office equipment.
- Requires manual dexterity, normal hearing, verbal communication, and visual acuity; may involve standing, walking, sitting, and reaching.
- Occasional travel and overtime may be required. Lifting up to 20 lbs.
Conditions of Employment
- Candidate must pass a county-paid pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Candidate must pass a county-paid criminal background screening.
- Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Class D Driver’s License for county vehicle operation.
