Research Data Analyst
Job Description
Join Indiana University in an onsite Research Data Analyst role in Indianapolis. You will support research project(s) across the full research lifecycle, including data collection, analysis, data management, literature research, and technical writing. The position emphasizes quality, collaboration with faculty and research staff, and opportunities to contribute through reporting, presentations, and mentorship when needed.
What you’ll do
- Perform data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data management, literature research, and technical writing to support research project(s).
- Consult with faculty researchers and research staff and provide input on research project evaluations and designs.
- Write technical reports and journal articles and/or develop presentations to disseminate and share research findings.
- Conduct and review analyses to support quality assurance of research findings, including data quality and report integrity.
- Research, review, and stay current on related project reports and/or publications.
- Represent the department in related research activities and participate in professional development programs and activities.
- Mentor and/or guide students, faculty, or other staff through training in research techniques and analysis as needed; may provide daily oversight to less experienced staff or student researchers.
- Provide additional research project support as needed.
