Senior Compensation Data Analyst
Job Description
Ledgent Technology is seeking a Senior Compensation Data Analyst to guide compensation programs with data-driven insights. This hybrid role in Carlsbad, CA partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to benchmark market data, shape pay structures, and deliver actionable compensation analytics that inform decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing salary structures, incentive programs, and pay guidelines
- Maintain pay ranges, ensuring market alignment and internal equity
- Advise on compensation decisions including offers, promotions, and adjustments
- Analyze complex compensation data to identify trends and risks
- Perform statistical analyses to support pay decisions
- Present insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking activities
- Map jobs to market data and interpret the results
- Offer recommendations on pay competitiveness
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
- Create and maintain reporting tools for HR and leadership decision-making
- Ensure compensation data accuracy across systems
- Support data governance and reporting improvements
- Collaborate with HR systems such as Workday for reporting and analysis
- Support compensation processes across multiple regions, ensuring local alignment
- Assist with job descriptions and job leveling structures
- Ensure roles align with compensation frameworks
Requirements

- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of compensation or data analytics experience
- Experience working with large datasets and compensation modeling
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday

Key Details
