Senior Data Analyst

Leidos seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support the USCENTCOM J6 Team with data analytics, reporting, and actionable insights. The role centers on leveraging Power BI and Qlik within an Agile framework and is based on-site in Tampa, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Qlik, and related analytics tools.
• Perform data modeling, data wrangling, and data cleansing to uphold quality and accuracy.
• Operate within an Azure DevOps environment to plan sprints and deliver data analytics work items.
• Apply Scrum and Agile practices to drive efficient data projects, accommodating evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with the USCENTCOM J6 Executive Data Officer (XDO) and other stakeholders to align analytics efforts with business goals.
• Extract, process, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and provide decision-ready insights.
• Maintain data quality through governance practices such as cataloging, tagging, and validation.
• Partner with data engineers to design data pipelines that automate data integration and ensure reliable access to accurate data.
• Support predictive and advanced analytics initiatives, including AI and ML models.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to sustain collaboration and transparency across teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Qlik, and Excel for data reporting and visualization.
• Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data governance practices.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing work items and sprints.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies to manage data projects.
• Strong ability to provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
