Senior Data Analyst

Based in Minneapolis, KS onsite, this Senior Data Analyst role supports data-driven decision making and automation across operations by delivering user-friendly analytics and BI tools that integrate with the ERP platform.

Responsibilities

• Drive mathematical modeling and tool development to back operations initiatives, strategic programs, and new product solutions within an Agile environment.
• Design engaging visualizations that translate complex insights for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Develop interactive analytics tools enabling stakeholders to drill into data and test scenarios.
• Construct efficient data models and optimize queries to ensure fast, dependable reporting.
• Architect scalable BI solutions that accommodate growing data volumes and user bases.
• Provide training to business users on BI tools and data analysis and visualization best practices.
• Document data sources, metric definitions, and analytical methodologies for organizational knowledge.
• Maintain database systems and security in line with policies and best practices.
• Develop user-friendly analytics tools, interfaces, and reports that are efficient to develop and well documented for future users and analysts.
• Use Python or other approved languages for data analysis and visualization to support machine learning initiatives.
• Manage complex tool designs end-to-end, including ongoing user input, management reporting, and resource deployment.

Requirements

• Proven track record building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience modeling data to support ad hoc visualizations and analytics applications.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and DAX.
• Experience writing SQL queries to analyze data stored in databases.
• Experience designing and developing user friendly dashboards and visualizations in BI platforms is preferred.
• Experience programming and aggregating data in Microsoft Power BI using DAX is desired.
