Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst supports Aramark Sports + Entertainment venues in the Pittsburgh district by delivering high-quality insights that drive smarter decisions and enhance business outcomes. This role collaborates with Aramark operations leaders and venue clients to assess performance, anticipate challenges, and propose data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted analytical partner for strategic planning and performance reviews.
  • Present data insights to senior management and clients with clear storytelling and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to research hospitality across premium, suites, and concessions consumer segments.
  • Identify opportunities to generate demand and meet consumer needs, and work with internal and external partners to pilot concepts that enhance guest experiences across venues.
  • Analyze performance data from diverse sources, including labor tracking, point of sale, and inventory systems, to identify operational improvements and recommend data-driven actions.
  • Create engaging data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate complex insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of key performance reports for multiple stakeholders, including the Aramark operations team and clients.
  • Produce ad hoc analyses to assess short-term initiatives; coordinate with cross-functional teams to define the insights and analytics needed to measure success.
  • Utilize consumer analytics to understand purchasing behavior across Aramark Sports + Entertainment venues in the Pittsburgh district.
  • Support pricing, product mix, and placement decisions to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop processes to streamline data collection and synthesis by refining business workflows.
  • Keep abreast of emerging AI tools, technologies, and industry best practices to advance Aramark Data Science objectives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, or another scientific discipline is required; a master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Typically 3 to 5 years of experience in an analytical role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability and proficiency in spreadsheet modeling are required.
  • Moderate hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with AI in a business context, plus curiosity and initiative to explore new AI technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at multiple management levels.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings, analysis, implications, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience developing business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
