Senior Data Analyst
Job Description
At MobilityWare, you’ll help drive analytics for multiple key games, turning complex product questions into experimentation plans and data-backed strategy. This Los Angeles, CA onsite role pairs end-to-end ownership with cross-functional collaboration across Product Management, Ad Serving, Marketing, and Game Design. You’ll play a key part in improving retention, engagement, and ARPDAU while building analytics capabilities that make teams faster and more independent.
What you’ll do
- Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests for game features and monetization strategies, translating findings into clear recommendations that improve retention, engagement, and ARPDAU.
- Lead strategic analyses of player behavior and game systems to uncover growth opportunities and inform the product roadmap.
- Build AI-powered self-serve agents and workflows so game teams can answer common data questions on their own and help increase analytics efficiency.
- Define KPIs and create dashboards that track game performance across player types, game systems, and player experience.
- Write tracking specifications with designers and engineers so new features are measurable from day one.
- Help prioritize data requests for supported games, balancing quick-turn asks with higher-impact work.
- Mentor junior analysts and product partners on experimental design, analysis, and interpreting data, and present insights and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
What you bring
- BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.
- 4+ years in product or data analytics, including 1+ years at a senior level, preferably in tech or gaming.
- Advanced SQL for querying and analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Experience with Python or R for analysis and modeling (including regression, clustering, and forecasting).
- A strong grasp of experimental design and statistics.
- Ability to connect analysis to business strategy and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.
- A track record of proactively finding opportunities beyond assigned requests.
- Experience using AI/LLM tools to automate analytics workflows or enable self-serve insights.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or teaching data best practices to non-technical partners.
- Experience working with data engineering, product engineering, and marketing.
- Nice to have: experience in the gaming industry, particularly mobile gaming.

Compensation: USD 135,000 - 165,000 per year.
