Job Description

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the CX Analytics team within the Pro Product segment, based onsite in Atlanta, GA. This role turns complex data into compelling, decision-ready storytelling to guide strategy and elevate the Pro customer experience, combining hands-on SQL, Python, and Tableau work with a focus on AI and advanced analytics. The position collaborates with product, UX, and engineering partners to turn insights into tangible improvements for Pro customers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and promote consistent reporting standards across the team.
  • Design and implement a scalable reporting framework.
  • Lead data mining efforts to inform analytics initiatives.
  • Create programs, methodologies, and data artifacts for analysis and presentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end users to capture requirements.
  • Analyze data, develop SQL scripts, stored procedures and triggers, and generate reports.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare data load scripts for bulk data ingestion from multiple sources.
  • Leverage a variety of database applications and analytics tools as needed.
  • Enhance systems and procedures to improve analytics workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with Tableau or equivalent BI tools for dashboards and executive-ready reporting.
  • Solid Python skills for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation.
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, compelling stories for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of AI applications in analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Proven success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High level of curiosity, ownership, and bias toward action.
  • Experience in Customer Experience analytics, Product Analytics, B2B or closely related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to delivering organized, high-quality outputs.
  • Ability to mentor colleagues on standards, best practices, and new technology concepts.
  • Understanding of usability best practices and user-centered design.
  • Creative problem solving, innovation, and issue resolution approach.

Direct Manager / Direct Reports

Travel Requirements

Overnight travel is typically less than 10 percent of the time.

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions

Based in a comfortable indoor environment; any unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Education

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the role.
