Senior Data Analyst, Global Payment Network - MIS

Responsibilities

• Use Open Source and digital technologies to mine complex, voluminous, and diverse data sources and platforms.
• Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service data consumption for users.
• Demonstrate the ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to advance multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
• Drive analyses that yield meaningful insights to inform business strategies.
• Support data quality management principles including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
• Work with Tech teams to manage security controls and data access governance.
• Develop and run tools to monitor and report on data quality.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in a quantitative field is required or in progress with completion expected by the start date; or a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) with at least 2 years of data analytics experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with at least one scripting language.
• At least 1 year of experience using a business intelligence visualization tool.
• At least 1 year of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.

• McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900
• Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400
• Riverwoods, IL: $101,100 - $115,400
• Chicago, IL: $101,100 - $115,400
• This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and long-term incentives. Incentives can be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
• Candidates hired in other locations will receive the pay range associated with that location; the actual offer will be stated in the offer letter.
