Responsibilities

• Address large-scale data warehousing challenges by leveraging AWS services to optimize big data processing, data warehouse design, and self-service data access
• Contribute to automation and optimization efforts across DW and ETL maintenance and deployment
• Partner with business and technical teams to tackle non-standard problems, applying creative problem solving to deliver actionable outputs
• Build systems and tools to process data with scalable, efficient technologies that handle seasonal spikes
• Influence day-to-day decision making within the team through reliable data solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience mentoring team members on best practices
