Senior Data Engineer - Manager
Job Description
PwC in Las Vegas, NV (onsite) is hiring a Senior Data Engineer - Manager to lead data engineering projects and teams, delivering strategic data-driven insights for clients while managing projects, mentoring staff, and driving client success.
Responsibilities
- Lead data engineering projects to drive strategic insights and optimize business performance, overseeing ETL and ELT integration
- Develop and implement innovative data solutions using advanced analytics techniques, with DataStage as a core tool
- Manage and mentor teams to enhance skills and deliver high quality client services, including pipeline architecture
- Leverage business intelligence tools and cloud-based analytics platforms to improve data-driven decision making, including AWS and Redshift
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives, working with DB2 and SQL Server
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvement, leveraging GoldenGate and CDC
- Oversee the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions with a focus on performance tuning
- Promote adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, utilizing S3 and Glue
- Address and resolve conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary
- Uphold professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
