Join Tripoint Solutions LLC as a Senior Data Scientist to architect and deploy advanced analytics, AI, and cloud-based data solutions for a federal program. Salary range: USD 100,000 - 175,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges
  • Design AI enabled solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and graph database architectures
  • Design and optimize enterprise data architectures that support AI and ML applications
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Microsoft Azure data services
  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations with Power BI or Tableau
  • Apply statistical analysis, predictive analytics, ML, and Generative AI techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, QA, deployment, and production support
  • Ensure data quality, system performance, and compliance with security and data governance requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and Government stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and analytical capabilities
  • Communicate complex analytical results and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay current with emerging data science techniques, tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data science or a closely related analytical role
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services and cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Practical experience designing AI data architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and graph databases
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Experience supporting SDLC activities, including testing and quality assurance
  • Proficiency with SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Location

Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence required 1 day per week. Candidates must reside in D.C., Virginia, or Maryland.

Clearance Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting Federal Government IT programs or enterprise-scale systems
  • Experience implementing Generative AI or large language model (LLM) solutions
  • Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
  • Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or related cloud certifications
