Job Description
Senior Data Scientist role supporting a mission-critical government program focused on advanced analytics, process modernization, and operational decision support, requiring independent operation, technical leadership, and production-ready analytics architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end data science solutions that ingest large, complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
- Build reusable, maintainable Python workflows for analytics automation and data pipelines
- Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across structured and unstructured data to support operational decision-making
- Produce clear, intuitive visualizations and dashboards that integrate into daily workflows
- Act as a technical subject-matter expert, mentoring team members while remaining hands-on
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical requirements and delivered solutions
- Explore, prototype, and deploy advanced methodologies including AI/ML, network analytics, and statistical modeling
- Contribute to building analytics products aligned with NGA and DNI standards, including ABI-driven workflows
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required post-onboarding
- 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education, military service, training, and professional experience
- Proven experience supporting Intelligence Community or national security missions
- Analytics pipeline development
- Automation and data ingestion, including API integration
- Production-ready workflows
- Experience with Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, or Bokeh
- Experience with Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
- Ability to operate independently, lead technically, and deliver solutions with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
