Senior GCP Data Engineer

Sgn Global Technologies is hiring a Senior GCP Data Engineer for an onsite role in Temple, TX. The position offers $65.00 to $75.00 per hour and focuses on building reliable, large-scale data pipelines that connect business needs to practical engineering solutions.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear, effective technical solutions.

What you’ll need

• 14 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on skills with SQL and Python, plus modern data engineering frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and database design principles.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and services in Azure and/or GCP.
• Experience applying DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and automated testing.
• Preferred: experience with big data technologies, distributed processing frameworks, or cloud-native data architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate requirements into solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
