Senior Healthcare Programmer/Data Analyst
Job Description
Senior Healthcare Programmer/Data Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions to support Regal Medical Group operations and improve healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data from enterprise data warehouse environments
- Utilize SSRS to format and automate recurring reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Develop advanced Excel solutions to perform in-depth data analysis, identify patterns, and align results with Health Plan reporting templates
- Leverage Tableau to create clear, user-friendly dashboards that translate complex data into meaningful visualizations for effective data presentation and stakeholder communication
- Rely on data warehouse environments to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management, supporting enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within large volumes of healthcare data
- Foster a collaborative work environment by partnering with team members to achieve shared goals, drive continuous improvement, and consistently deliver high-quality, data-driven results
- Performs additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned to support team and organizational objectives
Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in data analysis, programming, or business intelligence roles
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience within the healthcare or managed care industry preferred
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions
- Technical Skills
- SQL Advanced – complex query writing, optimization, stored procedures
- SSRS Advanced – report design, automation, and deployment
- Tableau Advanced – dashboard development and data visualization
- Microsoft Excel Advanced – pivot tables, complex formulas, macros
- Visual Studio Proficient – development and debugging environment
- XML Proficient – data exchange and integration
- Access Databases / VBA Proficient – database design and automation scripting
