Job Description

This onsite opportunity in Riverside, CA supports the Data & Analytics team at Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona. The role emphasizes turning data into actionable insights through data visualization, data processing, SQL and Tableau to enable data driven decision making. The position offers a salary range of USD 69,600 to 142,700 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Examine large data collections to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Build interactive Tableau visualizations that convey findings effectively.
  • Communicate data findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
  • Clean, transform, and preprocess data to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines for efficient data movement and storage.
  • Maintain data integrity and perform quality checks on datasets.
  • Develop efficient SQL scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to embed SQL driven solutions into the existing data infrastructure.
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Support the development and rollout of data strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Solid SQL skills for data analysis and scripting.
  • Demonstrated Tableau visualization experience.
  • Strong data processing and cleaning capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance purposes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
