Job Description

Cook Systems offers a hybrid work arrangement in Phoenix, AZ and a collaborative, data-driven environment focused on healthcare. You will design and develop ETL jobs and data integrations across the full SDLC, partnering with Salesforce Architects and application teams to enable bidirectional data movement using Salesforce Data Loader and Azure tools, all while upholding HIPAA privacy and federal security policies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to design data models for Salesforce repositories aligned with the solution architecture
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce HealthCloud environment
  • Ingest, validate, and process incoming data, applying business rules and integrating within Salesforce
  • Develop and coordinate unit and integration test plans; execute testing and evaluate results
  • Analyze, design, and build code for Salesforce data integration activities with third party applications
  • Implement changes and provide post implementation user and system support
  • Identify opportunities for improvement using data driven insights and advocate for beneficial changes
  • Evaluate and resolve critical data issues while ensuring compliance with security policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent database development experience
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to receive a favorable DoD background investigation
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure
  • 3+ years of experience developing data integration source code in SQL or equivalent
  • Experience in ETL with structured and semi-structured data
  • Experience gathering business requirements from cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and DevOps
