Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain productive lines of communication with clinical teams and business stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze clinical and operational data from multiple sources to drive improvements in health outcomes, cost reduction, and network optimization.
  • Update data models to preserve reporting accuracy and reliability.
  • Independently manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring scope compliance and timely delivery.
  • Leverage SQL and open‑source tools to explore key metrics, address complex business questions, and streamline internal processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive data reviews to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across clinical and business datasets.
  • Oversee clinical and process reporting using solid statistical, informatics, and data visualization practices.
  • Perform light data housekeeping tasks as part of routine duties.
  • Protect Monument Health information by maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Review systems and processes and recommend modifications to address issues.
  • Occasional travel for conferences and assignments as required.
  • Support organizational reporting needs with routine clinical and operational data extractions.
  • Profile and cleanse data to identify anomalies or inconsistencies in raw datasets.
  • Translate straightforward business requests into technical queries and visually interpretable summaries for stakeholders.
  • Assist in documenting data dictionaries and analytical workflows to ensure consistency across the team.
  • Identify opportunities for advanced analytics aligned with organizational strategy and Value-Based Care goals.
  • Drive metric development from concept to implementation, guided by industry standards and evidence-based literature.
  • Evaluate clinical initiatives by analyzing performance trends and delivering data‑driven recommendations to optimize Value-Based Care results.
  • Provide expert interpretation of complex datasets, uncovering the reasons behind performance trends and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Serve as a primary technical liaison for senior stakeholders, translating modeling outputs into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Audit and peer-review colleagues’ work to uphold high standards of mathematical and logical integrity.

Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of relational database structures, including primary keys, foreign keys, and join logic.
  • Solid grasp of descriptive statistics and data distributions to validate analytical findings.
  • Proficiency in coding to transform, aggregate, and structure datasets (SQL, Python).
  • Comfort working in open‑source coding environments and using documentation to resolve technical hurdles.
  • 1 to 3 years of increasing responsibility in an analytical role.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation is required.
  • Proven ability to build production-ready dashboards in Tableau or comparable BI tools.
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar environments to solve complex problems and automate tasks is preferred.
  • Experience developing predictive frameworks and models is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Training in a technical field such as math, statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, business analytics, or data science is preferred.

  • Salary: USD 35,000 - 65,000 per year
