Job Description

Role overview for an agentic AI engineer based in Arlington, VA onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems that demonstrate the practical value of generative AI, LLMs, and autonomous workflows.
  • Develop modular, reusable AI application patterns; integrate providers across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments; utilize modern GenAI capabilities such as structured prompting, tool use, workflow orchestration, and multi‑modal reasoning.
  • Design solutions deployable across cloud platforms and portable builds, optimizing latency, cost, observability, and safety.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate with AI‑assisted tooling; validate ideas through evaluation‑driven development and ongoing experimentation.
  • Shape the direction of mission‑critical agentic systems by selecting prompting strategies, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and suitable fine‑tuned or foundation models.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver top‑tier solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years designing, building, or deploying AI‑driven systems, including autonomous agents, LLM‑based solutions, or automated decision pipelines.
