Agentic AI Engineer Lead
Job Description
At CGI Group, Inc., the Agentic AI Engineer Lead will shape the design and delivery of Agentic AI automation for a major US Bank. The role is onsite at client sites in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, or Dallas, TX, with a salary range of USD 57,100 to 154,300 per year. You will blend strategic roadmap work with hands-on development to build AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, memory management, and autonomous task execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform the AI Intent lead role which combines Scrum Master and Product Owner roles, to envision the AI automation roadmap
- Build AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, memory management, and autonomous task execution
- Should have hands on workflow configuration in Azure Foundry/AWS Bedrock
- Implement prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and tool-calling mechanisms
- Develop multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, MCP Server or Semantic Kernel
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for context-aware AI responses
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI agent operations
- Monitor agent performance, reliability and response quality
- Ensure responsible AI practices including security, governance, observability, and compliance
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business teams to deliver AI-driven automation solutions
Requirements
- Candidate should be good in AI Agents automation development process using Azure/AWS
- Excellent in creating AI product roadmap and backlog maintenance
- At least 5+ years in software development with Agentic AI implementation experience preferred
- Must be strong in Azure Foundry/AWS Bedrock related agentic automation implementation
- Excellent in development using Python, SQL , Pandas
- Good exposure to agile testing process
- Should have excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders
