Job Description

PwC is seeking an AI Data Scientist Manager to lead data science initiatives within the Data and Analytics Engineering practice. The role combines guiding teams, delivering AI and ML solutions, and turning raw data into actionable business insights that inform decision-making. This is a full-time onsite position based in Tampa, FL, with locations across Tampa, Boston, and New York.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data science initiatives to convert raw data into actionable insights that support informed decisions.
  • Guide teams in applying advanced analytics and statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
  • Develop and implement data models and algorithms to improve predictive capabilities.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and data lakes for large-scale processing.
  • Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to foster innovation and strengthen data-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to grow the business.
  • Coach team members to enhance skills in data science workflows and troubleshooting.
  • Validate data quality and integrity within analytics frameworks to ensure reliable insights.
  • Encourage adoption of innovative technologies and methods in data science projects.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to align with client expectations and objectives.
  • Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, data preparation, experimentation, and model evaluation to develop and validate AI/ML solutions.
  • Use Python, data science libraries, model validation methods, and modern AI/ML approaches (including generative AI where relevant) to communicate insights to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data science algorithms and workflows, and employ ML and DL techniques effectively.
  • Excel in complex data analysis and predictive modeling while managing data pipelines and ensuring data quality.
  • Leverage programming languages for data engineering tasks and embrace change to foster innovation in projects.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
