Billing and Data Analyst

Pure Financial Advisors, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Billing and Data Analyst in San Diego, CA to help maintain accurate, timely quarterly billing and ensure key firm data remains consistent and reliable.

Role Overview

This position supports billing operations across major custodians, assists with reconciliations to surface and resolve data inconsistencies, and helps uphold data and system accuracy through weekly internal audits. The role also includes basic reporting, administrative support, process improvement work, and participation in transition efforts related to M&A data integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly billing processes across major custodians
• Complete reconciliations and help identify and resolve data inconsistencies
• Support weekly internal audits to ensure system and data accuracy
• Prepare basic reports and assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help streamline data workflows
• Support transition efforts associated with M&A data integration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; ideal majors include Accounting, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and pivot tables preferred
• Ability to learn and utilize data systems such as Salesforce, Tamarac, and Portfolio Center
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of financial services/billing and/or data management experience is preferred
• Basic familiarity with coding languages is a plus, but not required

Compensation and Work Arrangement

• Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 annually
• This is a non-exempt (hourly) position
• Location: On-site in San Diego, CA
• A hybrid schedule may be considered after an initial period based on role requirements and performance
