Business Intelligence & Data Analyst
Job Description
On-site Business Intelligence and Data Analyst role within Baxter Shared Services, located in the Omaha metro area, delivering data accuracy, reporting, and analytics to Finance, Operations, Marketing, and management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance enterprise reporting solutions to ensure reliable insight across the organization.
- Design, modify, and troubleshoot dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to meet user needs.
- Assist business users with reporting demonstrations, Q&A sessions, training, and solution design.
- Translate business questions into actionable reporting and analytics deliverables.
- Drive report optimization, usability improvements, and stakeholder adoption.
- Own data mapping, validation, exception monitoring, and data quality processes.
- Perform month-end data reconciliations and reporting tie-outs.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems.
- Contribute to data security, governance, and stewardship initiatives.
- Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic for reference and governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across dealership operations, finance, marketing, and corporate functions to identify reporting needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze performance metrics such as customer behavior, lead conversion, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Support executive decision-making with data-driven insights.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives as needed.
- Support development and maintenance of enterprise data pipelines.
- Assist in ingesting data from source systems, including Tekion and other operational platforms.
- Assist with migrating and modernizing existing reporting logic toward future-state analytics platforms.
- Contribute to AI-enabled reporting, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data management, or a related field.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot business data.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
