Job Description

This role supports Booz Allen Hamilton's law enforcement and criminal justice clients by turning data into insights and actionable recommendations through rigorous analysis and visualization. The position is based onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise and an analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research, develop, and validate data methodologies and deliver cross‑functional solutions by analyzing large datasets.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects and guide decision making across multiple organizations.
  • Leverage data visualization and analytics skills to translate complex requirements and trends to diverse audiences.
  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders, drawing on databases and scripting tools such as Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Define quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
  • Create visualizations using Power BI in formats such as graphs, tables, and slide decks.
  • Develop data‑centric solutions across the federal criminal justice landscape to strengthen communication and technical capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics or visualization tools to design and build formulas, charts, links, and pivot tables.
  • 2+ years of experience working with law enforcement or drug data.
  • 2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data from multiple platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT, statistics, computer information systems, auditing, investigations, mathematics, and units of measure.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Work Model

  • Onsite: Work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating with colleagues and clients as required.
  • Hybrid: Expect frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Remote: Some duties may be performed remotely, with occasional in‑person requirements at Booz Allen or customer facilities.

Clearance

Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

Projected annual salary range: $62,000 to $141,000. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
