Cyber Data Analyst / Coordinator

Peraton seeks a Cyber Data Analyst / Coordinator to support the DoD Cyber Defense Command Readiness and Security Inspection program at Fort Meade, Maryland. In this onsite role, you will translate complex assessment data into actionable insights, steward data across multiple evaluation programs, and help prioritise resources through rigorous analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary cyber defense data contact for data generated and stored across assessment initiatives, including CORA, CSSP, and PKI Audit programs.
• Provide subject matter expertise for planning and executing operational studies with a focus on data trends, systemic risk, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify patterns and forecast cybersecurity threats and risks using historical assessment data.
• Carry out operational research on DoD cyber and technology topics to support informed decision making.
• Present analysis findings with judgments and recommendations to guide senior leadership on risk acceptance and resource prioritization.
• Create reports that summarize component-level remediation findings, trend analysis, and specific risks, recurring deficiencies, and mission assurance concerns.
• Review and contribute to assessment methodologies, executive summaries, and other reporting documents.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA
• Minimum 10 years with an MS/MA
• Minimum 7 years with a PhD in a related field
• Ability to use management frameworks such as Kanban and JIRA to document analytic workflows, SOPs, and process improvements
• Experience or formal education in qualitative and quantitative data analysis to identify behavioral trends and root causes of systemic issues
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Details

Target Salary Range: USD 146,000 - 234,000 per year. This range reflects typical compensation for the role; final pay depends on factors including scope and responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply depending on the position.
