Job Description
WCL Group is seeking a contract Data Analyst 1 to support business intelligence through repeatable and ad hoc reporting for an enterprise environment in Plano, TX. This on-site role focuses on turning process performance data into clear charts, graphs, tables, and summaries that help drive business decisions. The position will also involve building and maintaining large-scale data ETL processes for ongoing reporting needs.
Working with a Top 20 Fortune Global 500 Consumer Electronics and Technology Company, you will gain exposure to the technology sector in the United States within a globally recognized brand known for smartphones, televisions, home appliances, and semiconductor innovation.
What you’ll do
- Analyze the performance of process activities, surface problem areas, and communicate results using clear charts, graphs, tables, or written summaries.
- Establish standardized methods for recording, tracking, and reporting activity across relevant processes.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems, or coordinate with programmers and analysts to make required updates.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Process certification such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently or with minimal direction.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards including SDLC, ITIL, QA/testing, Project Management, Six Sigma, and related areas.
- Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.

Role details
- Location: Plano, TX 75023 (onsite)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hrs per week
- Contract term: 1 year with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee
- Compensation: $32 per hour (USD)
