Job Description
The Data Analyst role at Mount Sinai Health Systems focuses on accurate data entry, reporting, and supporting data management practices to improve data quality, streamline data cleaning, and produce high-quality, reportable data.

Location: New York, NY (onsite)
Compensation: USD 38 - 40 per hourly
Responsibilities
- Review, enter, and report on input data.
- Assist in developing data management plans and guidelines that ensure accurate data and timely delivery while upholding quality standards; support quality control compliance processes.
- Identify and participate in implementing solutions to data management issues that arise during business operations or research studies.
- Support staff with technical issues related to electronic and remote record keeping systems and train staff to improve the quality of data collected.
- Assist with responding to queries and generating statistical analyses.
- Assist faculty and staff with queries, statistical analyses, reports, and technical difficulties related to data retrieval.
- Design and write custom applications to ensure the database meets requirements for data entry, management, and reporting.
- Identify and recommend solutions to data management issues.
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations and technologies related to data management.
- May oversee data entry staff and other less experienced Data Coordinators or Analysts.
- May access data in the Data Warehouse.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics and/or related field.
- Master's degree in a relevant field of study preferred.
- 2-3 years database application/management experience, preferably in a large medical center or healthcare environment.
