Job Description
ACCS is seeking a data-minded professional to collect, analyze, and communicate institutional information that informs decision making, guides strategic planning, and supports accreditation efforts. This on-site role in Abbeville, Alabama offers a salary range of USD 49,493 to 70,897 per year, reflecting the complexity and impact of the work across campus programs.
Responsibilities
- Carry out statistical analyses of institutional data, interpret the results, and contribute to formal research reports and presentations.
- Generate precise reports and institutional responses to internal and external data requests, including IPEDS, Campus Safety and Security Survey, and Equity in Athletics Survey.
- Acquire, clean, develop, and maintain longitudinal data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency as reporting requirements evolve.
- Participate in a broad range of survey research projects, including instrument design and the development of survey protocols.
- Design, execute, analyze, and communicate findings from both ongoing and one-time analytic studies using appropriate inferential statistics.
- Use relevant software tools to fulfill institutional data requests efficiently.
- Oversee the administration of institutional assessment measures and maintain an up-to-date KPI and CSF dashboard.
- Support the SACSCOC accreditation process, assist with institutional effectiveness for administrative units, and help develop outcomes, metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and participate in college planning activities, monitor the impact of planning efforts, and train faculty and staff in goal setting, planning, and evaluation practices.
- Maintain active memberships with institutional research organizations, such as the Alabama Association of Institutional Research (ALAIR).
- Serve as the institution's IPEDS key holder and participate on college committees as assigned.
- Perform miscellaneous duties related to the position as needed.
