Job Description
12-month contract Data Analyst role onsite in West Minneapolis focused on BI reporting, dashboards, and analytics in collaboration with technology and business stakeholders, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, sustain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing to inform decision making
- Create and manage data models; collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document data needs
- Collaborate on data infrastructure, visualization, and analytics roadmap initiatives
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to generate actionable insights
- Automate internal and external reporting while maintaining data quality and timeliness
- Enhance report performance and streamline data visuals through advanced modeling techniques
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and documentation; assist with validation processes
Requirements
- Solid quantitative background with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities independently and in a team
- At least 2 years of professional experience in analytics or BI development
- Proficiency with SQL
- Experience with Sigma, Looker, Power BI, or similar BI tools
- Willingness to learn and integrate AI into the current technology stack
- Experience with data modeling, visualization, and ad hoc analysis
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and performance optimization
