Data Analyst

The Data Analyst role at Restoration of America focuses on building and validating large, multi-source datasets to extract actionable insights that support ROA and its partner group in political strategy.

Responsibilities

• Create and enrich datasets by combining multiple data sources and integrating new data streams into existing workflows
• Validate data and perform comparative analysis through sourcing external data and cross-referencing with current datasets
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns in political data that inform targeting and decision making
• Research and implement innovative AI solutions, including machine learning and generative AI tools for political data challenges
• Develop automated reporting systems and translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
• Collaborate with political strategists, leadership, and the Restoration News team to support data-driven initiatives
• Provide extended availability and rapid analytical response during high-intensity campaign periods, including evenings and weekends
• Execute and evaluate targeted voter outreach campaigns using internal and external messaging platforms

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within political campaigns or advocacy organizations
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases
• Strong Python programming skills for statistical analysis and data processing
• Familiarity with voter file data and political campaign operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during election periods
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proven experience applying Artificial Intelligence in prior roles
